Pricey for pub food, was was tasty, plentiful and the staff were great.
The chef at the anthill is topnotch, five star plus. It's just a shame that the people of mareeba don't know how fantastic the food is at the anthill. Maybe the management team could do something to remedy this.....the bistro area could do well for a makeover.....there's so much room for improvement....possibly competition for the gateway.....thoughts from a local!
Went to meet a friend here for dinner. Used the toilet while waiting for my friend to arrive and upon exiting the toilet was greeted by the barman with "so are you going to buy a beer or something?" Old fashioned dive bar.
